Shrine of Our Lady Photos

My family and I went to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse this past weekend. The entire shrine and surrounding property is very picturesque and one could probably take lots of pictures. Here are a few pictures of a water fall along the path to the Shrine Church. The fall colors and foliage make the path very beautiful.

New Blog

I have no background in photography (although I did take a photography class in high school) but I thought that after the photo contest with my wife (to see who is the better photographer between the two of  us) that I would continue taking some pictures just for fun. She will be the first to tell you that I have taken very few of the thousands of pictures we have. While capturing photos for the contest, I found that I enjoy taking landscape/scenery type photos and you will see that composes the majority of the photographs that I post. The name of the blog simply comes from the job I do everyday, a firefighter/paramedic. Hope you enjoy!
